GINJA - FOOD & LIFESTYLE MAGAZINE - DIGITAL MAGAZINE Specialises in social media, newsletters, cooking demonstrations and recipes sharing the love and passion for food

Through GINJA Food & Lifestyle Magazine, social media, newsletters, cooking demonstrations and recipes, we share our love and passion for food – cooking it, sharing it, discovering it, re-inventing it, designing it, and best of all - tasting it.

Ginja Food & Lifestyle Magazine is published by Ginja Food Media (Pty) Ltd, established in 2013 as the only Chef-owned publication in South Africa.

In June 2015 the publication was taken over by the Francois Ferreira Academy's Principal and TV Chef Francois Ferreira, and Vice Principal Denise Lindley. Together they share their deliciously infectious love and passion for food – cooking it, sharing it, discovering it, re-inventing it, designing it, and best of all - tasting it.

GINJA Food & Lifestyle Magazine is aimed at all levels of the food-lifestyle pyramid. The readers are people (individuals and families) who enjoy discovering and trying new things. They explore the "foodie lifestyle", travelling to new destinations and enjoying the finer things in life. LSM 7-10, mainly female but the highest percentage of male readership of any food orientated magazine publication.

The editorial style is fresh and engaging focusing on everything that makes enjoying food unique. It focuses on what’s current and stylish, while providing readers with valuable cooking tools and tips. Each edition is filled with wonderfully delicious recipes, mouth-watering photography complimented by cultured, artistic and culinary pleasures that will evoke the readers’ senses, ignite their appetites and delight their eyes.

The Magazine also offers tips and recommendations on wine-pairings, entertaining and the latest information on new cooking products. GINJA inspires and empowers its audience to “live life fuller” through the great adventures that the foodie lifestyle enfolds... cooking in, dining out, culture, travel, entertainment, shopping and design.

Each magazine, while featuring a ‘themed thread’ running through it, also contains regular sections such as “What’s in Season” which keeps readers abreast of the fruit, vegetables and spices that are currently available fresh at the time of publication. There is also a regular “Ginja Junior” feature which assists families to raise children with an appreciation for food and its preparation.

GINJA Food & Lifestyle Magazine offers several multi-channel platforms encompassing print, online, events and awards. Complementing the print magazine and digital properties is a strong social engagement across multiple channels. A comprehensive digital package engages readers no matter where they are — home, work or school, at a computer or on the go!
